But coffee is just the beginning. Herr Leopold takes pride in its selection of homemade pastries and cakes, many of which are inspired by traditional Austrian recipes. The café also offers lighter options like buttery croissants and fruit tarts, perfect for pairing with your coffee.

The menu also includes a variety of savory dishes for those looking for something more substantial. • My first egg in a glass and salt stick experience. Lovely breakfast before a nice day sightseeing. It was a bit quiet inside, and the outside was closed when we visited, so the atmosphere could have been better if I’m being picky, but it was just a quiet morning I think. Everything else was great.

  • I visited this cafe on a Tuesday morning for breakfast. Since it was early morning, it was not crowded at all. We ordered cappuccino and latte macchiato. We also ordered breakfast with croissant and konfitüre and butter. We also ordered with scrambled eggs with bread. The coffee tasted good and the breakfast tasted great as well. The person who served the breakfast was very polite and friendly. The place is cozy and has a great ambience. I would definitely recommend this place. Also, They accept card payment.

  • We stumbled upon this cafe in Salzburg and had one of the best food experiences! The food quality, hospitality and the vibe of the place encouraged us to visit the cafe again before leaving Salzburg! The coffee was also very good. Thank you Sandra for cooking us the breakfast menu for our lunch, Jesse for taking our orders and making the place feel pleasant, Conny for amazing Coffee and Susanne for your hospitality!

  • Vibes were immaculate. Loved the modern cozy decor and the intimate setting for a morning coffee. The ice coffee was good. The fruit cake slice was incredible. Toast with ham was the perfect amount and delicious. I’m used to much stronger/more espresso in the US but the whole experience is wonderful

  • The coffee was nice, just stopped for my usual oat latte and it’s something I can recommend.

  • We had a late snack at this bar. We got the rose lemonade, a sweet lemonade I do not always find on the menu, an earl grey, a cappucino, the butter croissant and the sacher cake. Everything was good except for the croissant which was undercooked. Would go again though.
